Man in the mirror: マイケル・ジャクソン, the man who danced with his sacred feet and forgave with his generous hands.

Alireza: After you left, all my wishes are to follow your path.

Shaparak: No, goodbye is impossible. I miss your physical presence—no, I’m not lying—but I’m not afraid of your going. I’m not sad, because you are the riddle of my life.

Behrooz: What is three years? Even if I’m alive for three hundred more years, I will still call your death the biggest lie in the world.

Sama: Thank you, Michael... for all the beautiful gifts I received from you.

Navid: Michael was part of all of us.

Nima: I worship you not only as the greatest artist in the world, but also as a leader, a spiritual mentor.

Mahsa: All these shared feelings for one person is a miracle.

And on Facebook:

Mehrshad: In my opinion, every star is a symbol of a great human who once lived on this earth! What’s interesting is that it’s still those who, like a lighthouse, light up the area around them. Stars that look very beautiful from far away, but up close are full of patterns carved by cruel time on their bodies. You are one of those stars too. You don’t show it, but I understand it from your eyes—because they never lie to me!

Ehسان: Seeing you became an unreachable wish, but my feeling of closeness grows more and more—at the moment you shout, “You’re not alone,” and it makes me so intoxicated with your voice, the one only you know.

Peyman: In the coming years, songs, concerts, videos, and unreleased albums of his are expected to be released, and they will probably repeat マイケル・ジャクソン’s successes—but what will never be repeated is マイケル・ジャクソン himself.

With thanks to all the friends who shared their feelings and what they couldn’t say with us. You can read these comments in full on the blog or on Facebook. (The blog comments were selected for news coverage based on the score you gave them.)
