After Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley ranks second in earnings. The positions that follow are held by Charles Schulz, Bob Marley, and Elizabeth Taylor.

In the six years since Michael's death, he has topped Forbes's highest-earning artists list five times. He only stepped back from this position in 2012, dropping one place because his close friend and Hollywood icon, Elizabeth Taylor, had recently passed away and taken the top spot.
