Michael Jackson's Pepsi Advertising Song Leaks Online
The song "Price of Fame" has been known to fans for about three years. Michael Jackson created it for inclusion on the BAD album in the mid-1980s but ultimately decided not to release it.
In 2012, the song was released on a special album marking the 25th anniversary of BAD, alongside several other previously unreleased tracks.
A few days ago it emerged that Price of Fame had not only been recorded for the album — a second version of the same song had been made for a Pepsi commercial broadcast on television in 1987.
However, Price of Fame was not used for the Pepsi ad either, and instead a modified version of the BAD song was used.
A few days ago, the advertising and modified version of Price of Fame, overlaid on the Pepsi commercial video, leaked online. Watch and listen below.
