Marty Glens, a multi-million dollar real estate agent, says removing Michael's name from the listing was not the right idea.
This successful agent's view is that it is better for buyers to know that this ranch was once the safe haven of the King of Pop and one of the most famous people on the planet.
Glens says selling celebrity-owned properties can be a complex matter. Sometimes revealing that a property belonged to a star can help the sale, and in other situations the opposite may be true.
Glens: "I think you should let buyers know this property belonged to Michael Jackson. If I were in their shoes, that's what I would do."
Michael purchased the property in 1988 for $19.5 million and lived there for 17 years. It is now listed for sale at one hundred million dollars. After Michael's passing in 2009, the property was transformed by fans into a place of tribute.
Neverland once housed a beautiful zoo. Now only a solitary llama remains in what was once the zoo. The Neverland amusement park has also been dismantled. The only remaining trace of Michael Jackson at Neverland is the train station he named after his mother, Katherine.
