Beyoncé Receives the Michael Jackson Award

Yesterday at the MTV Awards ceremony, singer Beyoncé received the special Michael Jackson award in recognition of her artistic career. Her husband, rapper Jay-Z, presented the award alongside their daughter Blue Ivy. Jay-Z, while presenting the award, called his wife the greatest living performer in the world.

Beyoncé also took home three other awards at the ceremony.
