Katherine Jackson Has No Regrets About Filing the AEG Case
Katherine Jackson, Michael's mother, has said she has no regrets about filing the lawsuit against AEG that led to the AEG trial.
Last week the AEG trial jury ruled that Conrad Murray was employed by AEG, but they did not find the company liable for paying damages to Michael's mother and children. Katherine's attorneys argued that Murray was hired by AEG and therefore part of the responsibility for Murray's actions — which caused Michael's death — falls on AEG.
TMZ reported from a source: "Any report that Katherine Jackson regrets filing the case against AEG is wrong and inaccurate. Mrs. Jackson believes this case was of great importance, and it has been proven so far that AEG hired Dr. Murray."
The news agency says Katherine Jackson will meet with jury members before deciding whether to file an appeal.
