Judge Matis's View on the AEG Trial Verdict

A retired Michigan state judge presides over his television show called "Judge Matis," where he examines court cases from around the country.

In a video, he expressed his view on the AEG trial jury's verdict (Katherine Jackson vs. AEG) as follows:

"The AEG trial jury concluded that when Conrad Murray was hired by AEG to be Michael Jackson's physician, the doctor was qualified. This doctor is currently in prison for involuntary manslaughter; his negligence caused Michael's death. AEG hired Dr. Murray to look after Michael's health, and as a direct result of Murray's actions, Michael Jackson died. Therefore, AEG should have been found responsible for Michael's death."
