Why didn’t Paris go to Cannes?

As you may know, 15-year-old Paris Jackson was supposed to attend this year’s Cannes Film Festival, but that didn’t happen.

Roger Friedman wrote:

"She and her manager, Rick Yorn, were supposed to go to Cannes, and Paris could have met Leonardo DiCaprio—Yorn’s most important client—on a bouncy boat. But Yorn’s wife was in the ninth month of pregnancy and could have gone into labor at any moment. Since Yorn might not have been able to show up at the hospital on time, the Cannes plan fell apart."

Paris is spending this summer on a horse farm—something you could say is a gift from her father to her mother—alongside Debbie Rowe, the woman who gave birth to her. Of course, Debbie is not Paris’s guardian. Her legal guardians are her grandmother and her cousin, T.J.

Friedman also wrote that Rick Yorn’s contract with Paris Jackson was arranged by a lawyer named Lowell Henry, who works for Katherine Jackson.
