Taj Jackson’s wedding celebration held without Paris Jackson
On Sunday, the old Jackson family home in Encino, Los Angeles—famously known as “Honeharst”—played host to the wedding ceremony of Taj Jackson and Thayana.
Taj Jackson is a member of the three-person music group “3T” (Three T), and Thayana is a member of the three-person music group “T-Rio.” The members of 3T are brothers, while the members of T-Rio are triplet sisters. At the wedding, the bride’s and groom’s sisters and brothers served as their attendants.![]()
Taj is the son of Tito Jackson—Michael’s older brother. TJ, Taj’s brother, is the legal guardian of Michael’s children alongside Katherine Jackson.
Tito and Dee Dee, Taj’s mother and father, married on June 16, 1972. Dee Dee has passed away. Taj also decided to hold his wedding ceremony on the same day his mother and father got married.
Years ago, the Jacksons—after immigrating from their hometown, Gary, Indiana—made Honeharst their home in 1969. Years later, Joe Jackson, the head of the family, went looking to sell this house full of memories due to debts. Michael stepped in, bought the house from his father, and gifted it to his mother. Although ownership of the house remained in Michael’s hands, Honeharst then became the Jackson family’s safe haven. After their divorce, Michael’s brothers’ spouses (Randy and Jermain) lived in Honeharst for years with their children, and their living expenses were covered with Michael’s money. But everything changed after Michael’s death. Michael’s children were brought to this home to live alongside their grandmother, and in return, Aljandra and her children left Honeharst. The many memories of this house tormented Katherine, and that’s how she decided to move with Michael’s children to Calabasas.
But on Sunday, Katherine returned once again to the house of old memories—where, alongside her husband Joe, she witnessed the marriage of another one of her grandchildren. However, some of the bride and groom’s sisters and brothers were not present at the celebration. Janet, Randy, Marlon, and Jackie didn’t attend, and Jermain arrived late and missed the wedding ceremony. Tito, Rebbie, and Latoya were at the party, and so were Aljandra—Randy and Jermain’s former wife—and the mother of five of the Jackson grandchildren, who still uses the Jackson family name after the divorce.
But the biggest absence of the day was Paris Jackson, Michael’s beloved. Nearly two weeks had passed since the attempt at suicide by Paris Jackson, the fifteen-year-old daughter of the King of Pop. She was hospitalized and missed the ceremony, but her two brothers—Prince and Blanket—filled in for her. Prince had also brought his girlfriend, Remi, to the event. Other guests included Omer Bhatti. Omer was raised by Michael alongside his three children, and Paris, Prince, and Blanket consider him their older brother, even though no good relationship exists between them.
Chris Jenner, the mother of Kim Kardashian, was also invited to the wedding. She has recently become a grandmother. Kim was friends with TJ when she was a teenager.
eonline wrote that Prince and Blanket were having a happy day, and you could see on their faces that they had managed to get past their problems. We take this news as a good omen and hope it means Paris is on the road to recovery. The news outlet also wrote that during the celebration, Prince didn’t leave Remi’s side, and Blanket also had a good day with his acquaintances. Of course, according to this news outlet, the little boy doesn’t talk to strangers. Blanket has a very close relationship with Omer, which is evident in the photos.
eonline also wrote that Jermain sang three songs at the ceremony, and one of them was dedicated to his mother.
On this day, in Michael’s absence—since he was the homeowner—Honeharst once again welcomed the Jackson family gathering after a long time.
