Sunflower Day... 4 Years Later

God sent him to the earth so that, with his beautiful art and music, he could bring joy to people’s hearts and, with his humanity and kindness, be a supporter of the world’s voiceless children.

As is customary every year, today fans bring thousands of bunches of sunflowers to Michael Jackson’s grave at Forest Lawn. We also dedicate this bouquet to him on Sunflower Day. He loved sunflowers because they were cheerful and laughing.

Michael left us four years ago, but his memory, his love, and his legacy will live forever.

“His favorite flower was the sunflower. They made him happy because, in his eyes, they looked joyful. So he named this flower ‘Happy Flower.’ When we got married, I tried to fill every room he was in with these flowers. I wanted to put something next to him that he would love and that would last. So I brought a big vase full of silk sunflowers and placed it beside him. I know how much he loved being surrounded by gifts and flowers from his fans.
