Hours ago (9:51 a.m. in Los Angeles), a source told TMZ that 15-year-old Paris tried to kill herself by cutting her wrist! The source says Paris had attempted this before, but this time it was more serious. The source added: “Her attempt was serious. She wasn’t trying to get attention or asking for help by committing suicide.” These claims have not been confirmed; it’s still unclear how serious Paris’s attempt was.

She was transferred to West Hills Hospital in the morning, and sources reported that her condition is good. Paris has recently been spending more time with her mother, Debbie Rowe. According to ET, Debbie Rowe (who is a close friend of one of the producers of the network) confirmed the reports and described her daughter’s condition as favorable.

So far, Debbie is the only person associated with the family who confirms the news of Paris’s suicide attempt. She cited the pressures placed on Paris as the reason.

Debbie said Paris was “dealing with a lot of issues.”

It has been said that Paris had cuts on her wrist.

Paris was taken from her home in Calabasas to the hospital at 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, while being carried on a stretcher. The call to emergency services was made at 1:27 p.m. local time.

Around midnight, Paris wrote on her Twitter: “Why are the tears salty.” And also: “It seemed like the problems were out there far away, but now it seems like they’re here to stay.” Those lines are part of a famous Beatles song.

Paris appeared to be a very strong, happy, and lively girl. She is very beautiful and attracts attention in the entertainment industry. It’s unclear whether the AEG trial, which has been ongoing for some time and will continue for months, or the allegations by Wade Robson, led to this act. At the moment, fans are taking sides against the lawsuit filed by Katherine Jackson against AEG and her lawyer, Brian Panish. This lawyer has repeatedly argued in court about Michael’s dependency on painkillers.

While ET wrote that her guardians preventing her from attending a Marilyn Manson concert was the reason for her suicide attempt, Radar Online went into a more serious angle and, citing an informed source, wrote that Paris had been going through turbulent days due to the AEG trial and the approaching fourth anniversary of her father’s death. Ellen DeGeneres from CNN strongly denied ET’s report that preventing Paris from attending a Marilyn Manson concert was the reason for her suicide.

Radar Online wrote: “She is very upset that she is being called to testify in the court case related to her father’s death.”

The news agency, citing sources, said Paris felt guilty about spending time with her mother. Her father had entrusted her care to Katherine’s mother (her grandmother), and Paris feels that by meeting with her mother she is betraying her grandmother. On the other hand, her close relationship with her older brother, Prince, has been harmed because of these meetings. The news agency claims that Prince is not in favor of Paris meeting with Debbie Rowe. These claims have not been confirmed.

These days, Paris has been seen mostly with her mother on her horse farm, while Prince was making headlines around town with his girlfriend.

ET says the Los Angeles police confirmed a call to emergency services at 1:15 a.m. on Wednesday and said the caller reported a drug overdose.

Angie Hwangsky, an old publisher of Joe Jackson, Paris’s grandfather, confirmed to BBC that Paris had been hospitalized in a Los Angeles hospital, without confirming wrist cuts or a drug overdose.

Radar Online, citing another source, wrote:

“The court pushed Wade Robson’s lies about his father and the problems at school toward suicide.”

Eric George, Debbie Rowe’s lawyer, issued a statement published in USA Today: “We thank you for thinking about Paris and for respecting our family’s privacy at this time.”

Katherine Jackson’s lawyer, Perry Sanders, said in a statement:

“Whoever you are, it’s difficult for a teenage girl who is emotional—especially if you’ve lost the closest person to you. Paris is physically healthy and receiving the necessary medical care. Please respect her privacy and her family’s privacy.”

Without a doubt, the judge in the custody case for Michael Jackson’s children—two legal guardians of Paris, her grandmother Katherine and her cousin TJ Jackson, who have been entrusted with the care and custody of the King of Pop’s only daughter—will expect answers for Paris’s action. Surely an officer will be assigned to investigate the children’s living conditions. Perhaps this will cause Katherine and TJ to lose custody of Paris. The Michael Jackson Foundation will certainly not ignore this issue either.

Many fans blame the AEG court for Paris’s action. They believe Michael’s children should never have been involved in their father’s death case from the beginning. In their view, the Jackson family should take responsibility for their decisions and not shift blame onto the emotions of a fifteen-year-old girl. Michael always tried to keep his children away from controversy and chaos. After last year’s family turmoil, Paris had implicitly confirmed on Twitter: “Now I know why Dad was keeping distance from his family.” Those words were said after Paris’s uncles and aunts kept her grandmother away from her for several weeks. Michael loved his mother, trusted her, and for that reason entrusted her with the care of his children. We’ll have to see what the judge decides regarding this event.
