Deaf Artist Pays Tribute to Michael Jackson With a Coblentz (Koblenz) Painting
A Michael Jackson fan has made two paintings and a beautiful Koblenz artwork of him as a tribute for the fourth anniversary of his death.
Tom Brealey, who has been a die-hard Michael Jackson fan since childhood, is deaf and has Tourette syndrome.
He says: "I wanted to do something that would help people remember the anniversary of his death. These paintings are also a reminder of his life and talent. He is a fan idol and a legend. When I found out he had passed away, I was very sad. I had bought tickets to one of his concerts, but it wasn’t meant to be."
Tom, who also writes poems for Michael, had his Koblenz artwork published in a magazine.
Tom says: "For Koblenz, I worked a few hours a month. But the portraits were finished within a few hours. Among them, I like the Koblenz painting the most. I wove it with my own special design using white and black threads."
Tom has also learned Michael’s dancing, and when he performs, he wears white gloves that he has sewn himself.
