Conrad Murray to Paris Jackson: You’re Not Alone

Conrad Murray, the doctor who killed Paris’s father four years ago and shaped the current situation of this teenage girl, today sent her an unusual voice message from inside prison and said:

“I don’t know whether this can help take away your pain, but I’m with you. I love you.”

Surely hearing “I love you” from the man who killed her father is the last thing Paris needs in this world. It’s also very interesting that after four years since Michael’s death and two years of life in prison, Conrad Murray still hasn’t been able to understand the pain and suffering he caused for Michael’s children—and he claims he doesn’t know what the problem with Paris is. After Michael’s death, he left the hospital immediately and wasn’t found for several days. He had lied to the police saying that after Michael’s death he had comforted her mother and children, but these people still haven’t heard Murray’s request for forgiveness.

In his voice message to Paris—where sometimes it’s hard to understand his words due to bad audio—Murray uses Michael Jackson’s song title, “You Are Not Alone,” and tells Paris: “You are not alone.” Murray also uses parts of the songs Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (There’s no mountain so high) and You’ve Got a Friend (You’ve got a friend). He says he loves Paris like one of his seven children—children he doesn’t pay for to grow up and for whom he doesn’t take responsibility. Murray promises to stay by Paris, just as Paris was by his side during the bitter and saddest moments of Murray’s life. What he’s talking about isn’t clear to us. But certainly, this voice message—published on TMZ as part of a series of his messages—can be considered his strangest action so far.

Full text of Murray’s words:

“Paris, this is a letter for you. I don’t know what your issue is, but I know that whatever it is, it must be difficult. I know you’re not doing well. I don’t know whether I can do anything to take away your pain or help you solve your problem, but I want you to know that I’m right here with you. I never left you. I will always be available to listen to what you have to say, to answer your questions, or to share the beautiful stories you told me about your father—and his thoughts about you. I remember that your father wrote you a letter, and I hope you always keep this letter. Let me remind you of something you need to know. Paris, when you feel alone, or when something weighs heavily on your heart—when the events around you upset you—know that you are not alone. Your father loved you without limits. I love you like my own child, and I always will. I remember the time when I was very sad—you comforted me. I’m sure you remember. I was amazed by your strength and courage. Your compassion and generosity affected me. I will always remember that moment, and especially the message you told me. I’ve always been by your side, even if we were far from each other. Paris, if you want to talk to me, just say it. I love you, Paris. I’m praying for you, and I hope you recover soon. I’m leaving you now with the tears in my eyes and in the loving hands of God. Conrad Murray.”
