Taj Jackson Defends Michael Jackson: I Was Sexually Abused by My Uncle, but Uncle Michael Saved Me

Taj Jackson, the son of Tito Jackson, reacted today on his Twitter account to the baseless claims by Wade Robson and the remarks he made this morning on the program Today Show, revealing what he says is the biggest secret of his life. He also said that, as a child, he was sexually abused—by one of his mother’s relatives. And it was Michael who realized what was happening. Through a letter to Taj’s mother, Michael warned her and asked her to watch over her children. Uncle Michael spared no support for Taj and his mother, and Taj today told us what he had told his uncle years ago. He said he is willing to die for Michael.

Taj wrote in several tweets: "It’s disgusting that people will do anything for money. I won’t sit back while they make up lies about my uncle. I want to say something, knowing that when I hit the send button, my life will change forever. I was sexually abused as a child—by one of my uncles. At the time, my uncle (Michael Jackson) became a huge supporter of me and my mother. He wrote a letter to my mother—one that many people have seen, but back then they didn’t know what it was about. I know Wade’s words are lies because I was saved by Michael. My hands are still shaking. When Wade testified in court in 2005 in favor of my uncle, I was living in Neverland. There, I had dinner with him and his family. I won’t let them stain my uncle’s legacy. I don’t want to go on television. I’m not looking for attention. I just want the truth to be told. I always told my uncle that I was willing to get shot and die for him. I still say the same thing. I’m sorry that Wade forced me to reveal this secret, but since my uncle is no longer here to defend himself, I’m doing it. Don’t doubt it. Even if it costs me the destruction of friendships."

Years ago, when Taj was still a child, Michael wrote to Deedee, Taj’s mother, in a letter:

"Deedee, please read this article about child sexual abuse. Please also read it for Taj, T.J., and Taryll. The article explains how relatives—uncles/aunts—may abuse their own nephews and nieces. Please read it."

This letter was given in 2005 by Henry Vaccaro to the prosecutor of the 2005 court. The letter was found in an old Jackson family storage area that was under Vaccaro’s control. He delivered the letter to the prosecutor of Santa Barbara with excitement and joy, hoping to use it against Michael. But the letter had a completely different meaning than what Vaccaro’s flawed mind had interpreted.
