Are the Jacksons worried about losing to AEG?

The comments made by the Jackson family after Michael’s death—during which they provided the media with private information about his life, including his dependence on pain-relieving drugs—may end up harming this family. For example, Janet, in interviews with Oprah Winfrey and Piers Morgan, mentioned Michael’s addiction to these drugs and said that the family’s efforts had not gone anywhere. Katherine Jackson also mentioned this in an interview with Oprah Winfrey.

The Chicago Sun-Times has reported a concern among members of the Jackson family. Apparently, sources close to the family have revealed that Katherine and her children—Randy, Rebbie, Jackie, and Jermain—are worried that they will lose to AEG.

Last week, the company’s lawyer showed in court how Katherine Jackson and other family members were aware of Michael’s drug problem and that their attempts to help him had failed. Could this fact influence the jury’s opinion?

Although in 2007, when People magazine reported on a family gathering to address Michael’s addiction to painkillers, Michael’s brothers—Tito, Marlon, Jackie, and Jermain—and their mother Katherine denied the report.

“There’s a long road ahead, but we hope the evidence will confirm our claims. We believe that Conrad Murray was not suitable for the job the company assigned him. He had severe financial problems.”

Yesterday, the court session was canceled due to the judge’s schedule and his presence in a business meeting. Therefore, the fifth court session will be held on Monday, and it is expected that the doctor who performed the autopsy on Michael’s body will appear in court. This witness also testified in the 2011 trial of Conrad Murray. The bad memories from that trial will be brought back to life in the upcoming sessions.
