Christophe Boulmé Exhibits MJ Artwork In London may 11
(23-3-2013) French photographer Christophe Boulmé became known to Michael Jackson fans worldwide through his beautiful artwork for the ‘Black & White’ fan magazine. His art also came to the attention of Michael, and later on Christophe Boulmé became responsible for several cover illustrations, including the ‘Stranger In Moscow’ single cover, the ‘Ghosts’ box set cover, and some of the images in the HIStory album booklet.
Part of Christophe Boulmé’s artwork on Michael Jackson will be featured in the exhibition ‘Making HIStory - a king through the lens’. The exhibition takes place on May 11 (10am to 8pm) and May 12 (11am to 4pm) at The Gallery on the Corner in London (155 Battersea Road, London SW8 4BU, UK) and will feature rare and famous Michael Jackson images and artworks. Over 20 amazing pictures of Michael Jackson taken by Christophe Boulmé throughout the years have been enlarged. You must purchase a ticket to enter the exhibition (£5.00 + £0.50 booking fee).
It is permitted to take pictures within the exhibition but not of the images alone. You will also be able to pose in front of any images of your choice. Additionally, Christophe Boulmé will be present, sign autographs for the fans, and answer any questions.
Christophe Boulmé requested that all reproductions of his work for the exhibition be auctioned for a charity of his choice. He has selected “Comic Relief” for this special event. The auction will take place on May 12 after the gallery closed its doors (4pm).
