Bollywood’s Tribute to Michael Jackson in a New Film

Prabhu Deva and Remo D'Souza, Bollywood actors from India, are die-hard fans of Michael Jackson.

They say that in their new film ABCD, in the song "AnyBody Can Dance," they are paying tribute to the King of Pop. This musical—the first 3D Bollywood film—will be released in February 2013. Remo D'Souza is directing the film.

Remo said: "Everyone knows how much respect and special devotion I have for Michael Jackson. So when I make a dance film, it’s impossible not to go to Michael."

Indian cinema has long been intertwined with dance and singing, and it’s not surprising that Michael has many fans among Bollywood artists. Once, a meeting with Hrithik Roshan was arranged with him via news, and also a few months after Michael’s death, a tribute music video featuring stars such as Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Katrina Kaif, and Priyanka Chopra was produced.
