Bad 25 Named One of the Best Music Documentaries of 2012
A US-based online magazine, Paste Magazine, has announced its list of the top ten music documentaries of 2012. In this list, Spike Lee’s documentary Bad 25 ranks ninth.
The magazine describes Bad 25 as:
"A quarter of a century after the release of BAD, Spike Lee takes us on a deep dive into the album and the Bad tour with this documentary. After the release of Thriller, there was no record left to break. Jackson turned up the pressure, forcing himself and others to chase an even bigger achievement this time. Bad 25, using interviews with Quincy Jones and Martin Scorsese, or older interviews with Jackson, does a great job of revisiting this piece of history. But the most special part of this documentary is its unguarded and intimate moments."
