A note by Nikahang about Michael Jackson and the film This Is It
Watch this film if you have memories of Michael Jackson, his songs, and his dancing.
There was a time when everyone got into the habit of hiding everything and pretending to be intellectual...
Whenever I hear his songs from 1983, I go right back into the same mood as my first and second years of high school.
This film is about rehearsals of Michael Jackson and the team of dancers and musicians for his nonstop concerts—though, of course, with the death of this great star, everything was effectively nullified.
At some points you feel his voice isn’t reaching out, but he brings himself to the level he needs to. Human weaknesses have made this documentary more engaging.
Michael is sensitive, precise, appreciative...
Sometimes you can’t believe that at age 50 he repeats those beautiful same moves from his youth... but then you realize he’s thinner...
A few of the songs made me cry.
I mean, are the music idols of the eighties really going to go like this?
