Did you know that in 1988, Michael’s photo was printed on the covers of more than 100 magazines? #Who’sBad?
But it wasn’t just magazines—Pepsi was involved too...
During the Bad era, Michael appeared in many Pepsi commercials, and the company, in return, sponsored the Bad Tour. In 1988, a four-part commercial was made with Michael and Pepsi, using a modified version of the song BAD. In these four videos, we see Michael running from photographers. He escapes the chaos using a helicopter and then takes himself to a museum in a car. In the next segment, he appears as a professional skier and lands on stage with a parachute.

Michael Jackson collaborated with Pepsi during a ten-year period (1983 to 1993). His commercials were very creative and earned praise from critics. Thanks to the collaboration with the King of Pop, Pepsi for the first time surpassed its rival Coca-Cola.
