A Michael Jackson course is coming to university
Clark Atlanta University, a private historically Black university in Atlanta, Georgia, is offering a Michael Jackson course.
Founded in 1988, the university is a member of the United Negro College Fund, which funds the education of African Americans.
In the Michael Jackson course, students are taught about the business genius of the legend and his iconic place in the world of music. The course is called "Micheal Jackson: The Business of Music" and is taught by attorney James Walker.
Walker said: "Our goal is to encourage students to enter the entertainment industry in the future—whether as an artist or as a lawyer, businessman, business manager, accountant, and so on."
Why does James Walker use Michael Jackson to teach this subject? Because: "I want to give my students a comprehensive understanding of how this industry works."
