Why did Janet Jackson get involved in the Jackson family drama?

Investigators are currently busy questioning every individual at the Calabasas home to clarify the recent family chaos and the entry of Germain, Janet, and Randy into that property, as well as their attempt to take Michael’s children away. According to the police, there is a video proving the dispute between Germain, Randy, and Trent Jackson—residents of that home.

Janet, Michael’s sister and the youngest child in the Jackson family who, after Michael, became the most successful and famous member, is one of the people who signed the threatening letter sent to the Foundation. She has always been considered one of the closest people to Michael. She had a successful career and enough money. In addition, she has always kept herself away from the drama, and until now many considered her one of the wisest members of the family. For these reasons, when her signature appeared on the bottom of this letter and then she actively participated in the family chaos, many were shocked.

But the other sisters and brothers have nothing. Janet is struggling with the fear that she will have to pay their debts and cover their living expenses.

Janet’s last three tours didn’t sell well, and she hasn’t released a successful song in a decade. She doesn’t have a contract with a company. According to this family member, Janet’s wealth is equal to 100 million dollars, but that money is only spent and doesn’t generate any income.

This family member says that Janet praises and follows her brother Randy. It was Randy who planned the transfer of Katherine from Calabasas, called Michael’s will fake, and tried to remove Michael’s children from the house and take over their guardianship and the Foundation’s administration. Randy intended to question his mother’s ability to care for Michael’s children. If he could replace Katherine and become the children’s guardian, then the children’s monthly allowance would fall into his hands—and Janet would be happy that Randy would no longer bother her about paying his debts.

Four brothers—Germain, Jackie, Tito, and Marlon—were busy performing a tour in New Mexico. With the help of Katherine’s assistant, Janice Smith, Randy arranged for Katherine, 82, to be taken to Arizona.

Now, Janet—who fought for her freedom against her family in 1986—is joining the family’s fight against John McClain.

According to Rebbie Jackson, in 2001 Janet bought a house in Las Vegas for her mother on the condition that her father, Joe, would not live there: “She never forgave Joseph for what he did to us when we were children. She never gets along with Joseph.”

In the past, Janet helped pay her mother’s debts. She also paid one year’s rent and brought Marlon to Atlanta. She has been very cautious with financial help to her family.
