Janet Jackson repeats her claims
While Tito, and then Jermaine, withdrew their signatures from the Jacksons’ protest letter to the foundation, Janet, Rebbie, and Randy issued another statement supporting their previous remarks against the foundation.
Janet’s lawyer, Blair Brown, posted this statement on Janet’s website. Janet Jackson wrote that, without mentioning the recent chaos or her preventing Michael’s children from contacting their grandmother, the ban on entry for some members of the Jackson family into their mother Catherine’s home was carried out with the aim of separating her from her family. She also claimed that the foundation’s trustees are trying to destroy the Jackson family’s relationships. But the truth is that Catherine can contact all members of her family by phone, meet them outside the borders of Calabasas, and even travel. However, these people are not allowed to enter the home where Michael’s children live.
Janet also wrote that they are not seeking money, but rather want the trustees of the foundation to resign so that the foundation’s administration and the guardianship of Michael’s children can be carried out in a way that benefits Prince, Paris, and Blanket the most. The letter continues: “And that’s what Michael wanted.”
After Janet’s statement was published on her Twitter, Paris Jackson wrote: “I’m tired of people who think money is everything.”
Roger Friedman wrote about this: “What Michael wanted was for his sisters and brothers to have no hand in it. They claim the foundation is being run badly. Over these three years, many projects have been carried out, and Michael’s $400 million debt has been paid off. The foundation has had hundreds of millions in revenue, and the future of Michael’s children has been secured. What do they think they’re doing?”
