The Jackson Brothers Received the Key to Their Hometown
Friday was an important day for the Jackson brothers. As part of their Unity Tour, which has only just started ۴ days ago, they traveled to their hometown, the city of Gary in Indiana.
In the absence of their brother Michael, the former members of Jackson Five—Jermaine, Marlon, Tito, and Jackie—each received the key to the city from Mayor Karen Freeman-Wilson.
They visited their old home on Jackson Street ۲۳۰۰, which had been surrounded by fans. Tito talked about the good times in Gary, and Jermaine recalled the past: "Everything started from here—this is our home."
Previously, Michael had received the key to the city during a trip to Gary in ۲۰۰۳.
