Spike Lee and a documentary about Michael Jackson
Spike Lee, director of the video They Don’t Care About Us and one of Michael’s friends, said that he is working on a new documentary about this legend.
“These days I’m busy making a documentary to mark the 25th anniversary of the release of the album Bad.”
Lee revealed the names of several artists he interviewed for the documentary, and it has been said that Chris Brown and Usher are likely to have participated as well.
Lee also responded to the question of who will be the next King of Pop:
“For this documentary we interviewed Justin Bieber, and you know that Michael is his idol. I like Kanye (West) and Jay-Z and the rest of them, but Michael Jackson is unique. So if there’s only one Michael Jackson, how could someone else become the next King of Pop?”
No information has been given about the documentary’s release date.
