Justin Bieber’s New Song Is a Reworked Michael Jackson Piece
Roger Friedman says Justin Bieber’s new song, Die in Your Arms, is a reworked version of an old Michael Jackson track from the album Ben.
The song is based on Michael Jackson’s 1971 track titled We’ve Got a Good Thing Going, produced by Motown. The song was written for Michael by “The Corporation,” a British songwriting group founded and owned by Motown’s founder. On the new track, the names of these individuals are listed as contributors to the creation of the work, but other names are also seen as re-creators of the piece, such as Radney Jerkins and Justin Bieber.
In the end, Friedman hopes that The Corporation’s songwriting credits will be paid in full and that no negligence will occur in this regard.
