What Will Michael Jackson’s Permanent Show in Vegas Be Like?
Jamie King, the young director of the Immortal Michael Jackson tour, which is jointly produced by Cirque du Soleil and the King of Pop Foundation, recently told Robin Leach of Las Vegas Weekly in an interview that the permanent Michael Jackson shows in Las Vegas will be completely different from the Immortal tour.
King says that no title has been chosen for these shows yet, and they are simply being called “The 2013 Michael Jackson Show.” In 2013, after the Immortal world tour ends, Michael Jackson’s show at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas will begin. According to King, these 90-minute shows will be entirely different from what the Cirque members currently perform on the stages of various cities during the Immortal tour. The Vegas shows will include more characters and more acrobatics, and King believes they will be far more spectacular and entertaining.
