A Clinark album for Michael Jackson
R&B singer Clinark is busy creating a music video for his album, which is a tribute to the King of Pop.
The title of his album is: “Tribute To Michael Jackson A Legend And A Warrior.” The album includes covers of Michael’s songs, and the new music video is for the song They Don’t Care About Us. Filming will take place on April 29 on Alma Street in Edmonton, London, and Clinark has invited fans to be there in person—and maybe they can also take part in this video.
On his website, he said:
“Back in 2009, with the excitement of starting Michael’s concerts in London, I began humming the song I’ll Be There. My manager suggested that I record it, and I released it just 4 days before Michael’s death. After Michael passed away, I joined the mourning with other fans. When I heard that Smile was his favorite song, I recorded a version of it in December of that same year to release as a tribute to him.
After that, the following year, fans asked me to cover more of Michael’s songs and release them in an album.”
He also wrote, in tribute to Michael Jackson:
“Thank you, Michael, for inspiring me with your great music and your charitable performances. Rest in peace, Michael Jackson, the greatest entertainer of all time.”
