Michael Jackson’s former lawyer to be barred from practicing

Last spring You read that Brian Oxman, Michael Jackson’s dismissed lawyer who had served as his father’s attorney, had received a suspension from practicing for the third time by court order. However, the California Bar Association intends to revoke his license to practice after numerous violations. Oxman was part of Michael’s legal team led by Thomas Mesereau in the 2005 court case. Mesereau fired him from the team after he fell asleep during a court session and his snoring became loud. Without having any relationship with Michael, Oxman became known in the media as Michael Jackson’s lawyer. He then became Michael’s father’s lawyer and was involved in the financial affairs of the Michael Jackson Foundation. Source: eMJey.com / LA Times
