Michael Jackson Foundation Remembers Whitney Houston

Today, the Michael Jackson Foundation, in order to honor the friendly relationship between Michael and Whitney Houston, the female singer who has recently passed away, published a full-page memorial in two newspapers: the Los Angeles Times and the Newark Ledger — the newspaper of Newark city in the U.S. state of New Jersey, Whitney Houston’s hometown.whitney-houston-memorial-ad-newspapers.jpg

The memorial reads: In memory of the magnificent voice, the brilliant beauty, and the magic she created on stage.

Today, Whitney’s funeral will be held with many artists in a church in her hometown, and two enduring figures, Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder, will sing in her memory. Mariah Carey is also among the guests, although she will not perform.

Two beautiful, unforgettable voices — Whitney and Mariah — were always rivals in the eyes of the media. But their very beautiful duet, When You Believe, released in 1998, will remain as a lasting memory of their friendship.
