Michael Jackson Foundation Gets Permission to Sell the House

You previously read on this page that Katherine Jackson was planning to sell Neverland— the house in Encino, Los Angeles, where Michael spent his childhood and youth. Apparently, Michael’s memories were tormenting her. Katherine moved out of Neverland a long time ago with three of Michael’s children and settled in a mansion in Calabasas.

Then came the news that Katherine had changed her mind about selling Neverland. However, her application case went to court, and on Thursday the judge announced a positive ruling to the Michael Jackson Foundation. The house is in Michael’s ownership, and the judge ruled that the foundation can decide at any moment about the fate of this property. Of course, the foundation has no intention of selling the mansion.

The judge also allowed the foundation to deposit $30 million into the Jackson family trust fund, which belongs to Michael’s heirs (his three children, his mother until her death, and several charitable organizations). In you read in the month of Shahrivar, the foundation was prepared to hand over $30 million to Michael Jackson’s heirs. Permission for this was issued by the judge on Thursday.
