Financial Cases Against Conrad Murray Are on the Way

Now that Conrad Murray has been identified by a criminal court as Michael Jackson’s involuntary killer, the Jackson family is preparing for the next step. Michael’s father and mother filed two separate financial lawsuits last year against Conrad Murray and the company AEG. The company was supposed to support Michael’s concerts in London. Now, the path to handling these two lawsuits has become easier. The complaint against AEG is based on the question of whether this company truly had no knowledge of the non-standard treatment that Conrad Murray had planned for Michael. If either of these is found guilty by the court, they will be forced to pay fines to the Jackson family and/or the Michael Jackson Foundation. However, a legal expert says the issue isn’t really money. Given the recent changes in California laws, people who commit a non-violent crime are given leniency to receive parole and/or to serve their sentence at home instead of in harsh prisons. The possibility that Conrad Murray might not even spend a day behind bars for killing Michael Jackson enrages the Jackson family.
