Day 24 of the trial: The first day of deliberations ends without a verdict

Yesterday, the jury in the Conrad Murray trial completed the first day of deliberations on his guilt or innocence without reaching a verdict. Outside the courthouse, Joe was tense, with Michael’s fans and Murray’s supporters present.

The case was referred to the jury on Thursday after 22 days and the calling of 33 witnesses by the prosecution and 16 witnesses by the defense.

During yesterday’s 6-hour session, the jury reviewed more than 340 pieces of evidence presented in court. They will resume their work on Monday.
