Conrad Murray Loses His License in Nevada
On Monday, Conrad Murray was found guilty in the involuntary manslaughter case of Michael Jackson and lost his medical license in California. Reports say that his license in Nevada has also been revoked. Under Nevada state laws, the license of physicians who commit a crime related to their field of work will be permanently invalid and cannot be appealed.
Over the past two years, restrictions had been imposed on Murray’s medical practice in different states. The judge told him that until the end of the trial, he was not allowed to sedate anyone. But now, with his conviction, it is expected that the ban on his medical practice will be permanent.
He is still allowed to work in Texas and Hawaii, and it remains to be seen what these two states will decide regarding his guilty verdict.
