Michael Jackson documentary premiere celebration in London

You’ve read about the new Michael Jackson documentary by David Gest, titled “Life of a Believer,” on this page. The documentary will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on October 31.

Today, David Gest and Universal announced that on November 2 in London, a star-studded celebration of the film industry and music industry will be held at the Empire Leicester, during which the film “Life of a Believer” will be screened.

Michael’s mother, Katherine, and his siblings, Rebbie and Tito, will attend the event. Thomas Mesereau, Michael’s lead attorney in the 2005 court case, and his assistant, Susan Yu, are also among the guests. Before the film screening begins, a Q&A session will be held with people involved in making the documentary and/or who were interviewed in it.

After the film screening ends, there will be a party featuring prominent singers and live performances of songs.

Tito Jackson compared this celebration to a music festival, where the best singers come together to pay tribute to his brother.

David Gest has called Michael “the best friend of his childhood,” and recorded a special video for fans in which he talks about his plans. At the end of the video, clips from this documentary are shown. To watch, click.
