Michael Jackson’s Children Have Boycotted Their Father’s Murder Trial

Michael Jackson’s children—14-year-old Prince, 13-year-old Paris, and 9-year-old Blanket—are not following news about their father’s murder trial because it is too difficult and exhausting for them.

Catherine Jackson is pleased that her late son’s children are not showing curiosity about the trial.

Catherine was present in court on the first day of Conrad Murray’s trial. On that day, the prosecutor displayed a photo of Michael’s lifeless body, and relatives say it was far more than Catherine could bear. The audio tapes played in court—of conversations recorded by Murray—as well as the phone call from Michael’s guard to emergency services, had a bad effect on Catherine.

There are also rumors about the possibility of Prince Jackson testifying in court, which we hope is not true. The prosecution has a long list of witnesses, and perhaps there won’t be a need for the testimony of Michael’s eldest child.

On the day Michael died, Murray had asked for Prince to go to Michael’s room to help.

TMZ, quoting sources whose identities are unclear, says Prince’s name is on the prosecution’s list of potential witnesses, though this has not been confirmed.

The court has special rules for the testimony of people under 18—for example, they can give their testimony without the presence of reporters and photographers.

RadarOnline, quoting someone close to the Jackson family, wrote that Paris is prepared to give testimony. She is very clever and articulate, and she loves her father dearly.
