Jermaine Jackson: The World Wasn’t Ready for My Brother’s Message
You’ve read that on Monday, June 20, Jermaine Jackson—the older brother of Michael—attended the opening ceremony of the Michael Jackson memorial exhibition at Madame Tussauds Museum in Hollywood. On that day, three wax statues of the King of Pop were unveiled.
During the event, Jermaine spoke with reporters and said that the world was not ready to receive the message his brother had brought: “I feel like God brought him to Earth, gave him to us, and then took him back from us.”
“This world wasn’t ready to have him. It’s very sad. It makes me grieve. But I know he showed the right path to the people of the world.”
Jermaine said that the latest wax statue of his brother—based on This Is It—reminds him of Michael’s youngest child, Blanket.
Jermaine also said he is worried that the lawyers of the accused murderer of Michael will present a bad image of his brother in court.
“They want to tarnish the face of my brother and make him look like a bad person in order to acquit their client. But we all know he wasn’t like that. Michael is gone. His spirit will live forever. The trial will not change anything.”
