Liza Minnelli, the 65-year-old Oscar-winning actress and daughter of Judy Garland, apparently is facing a financial crisis. She has recently sold the embellished and marked outfits that her close friend Michael Jackson had gifted her.
At a sale held at one of her friends’ homes in the Hamptons, New York, Liza Minnelli sold several of her own memorabilia from the world of art and fame. Her dance shoes for Broadway and the King of Pop’s jackets were among these items.
Liza Minnelli, one of the few artists who has won both an Oscar and an Emmy, a Grammy, and a Tony, had placed an advertisement for this sale in a local newspaper.
