Michael Jackson Foundation rejects news of an agreement with Heal the World charity

An online Michael Jackson news agency, quoting the foundation on its Twitter account, wrote that no agreement has been made between Heal the World Foundation and the Michael Jackson Foundation. “News given on TMZ’s website and/or other news agencies about an agreement between the Michael Jackson Foundation and Heal the World Foundation is incorrect. The foundation has the right to use the title ‘Heal the World’ (Heal the World—the name of one of Michael’s songs and his former charity, which he ended in 2002) and all of Michael Jackson’s names, symbols, and signs. The Michael Jackson Foundation owns the title Heal the World, and no one—whether Melissa Johnson (the current director of the Heal the World charity) or anyone else—will ever be able to own Michael’s name or the title Heal the World.
