The foundation of this famous friendship was laid in the mid-1980s, when Taylor brought a group to watch Michael Jackson’s concert but couldn’t see the performance or hear the songs. The next day, Michael called her crying, but when Elizabeth explained the issue to him, they began to talk... and that was where it started.

The Oscar-winning actress, the last star of the golden age of Hollywood, was the first person—according to Michael Jackson fans—to call him the “King of Pop.”
She was always a defender of Michael against accusations, saying that he had carried her nights in Neverland, Michael’s ranch, into the morning.
"There was nothing unnatural. We laughed like two children and watched a whole world of Disney cartoons. There was nothing bad."
Many say she never truly healed from the grief of Michael’s death.
"He will always live in my heart, but that’s not enough. My life now seems so empty."
