Michael Jackson Murder Trial Delayed by One Month
Yesterday, Judge Pastor pushed back the start of the trial for Michael Jackson’s murder by one month so that the defense attorneys could share their information with the prosecution. The lawyers had previously requested an early trial, but their deadline passed and they were left empty-handed.
Of course, as scheduled, starting March 24 (which corresponds to April 8), hundreds of Los Angeles residents will be summoned to determine their eligibility to serve as jurors in this case. However, their final selection will not take place before May 9.
Conrad Murray, the defendant, was summoned to court yesterday so that, in his presence, the judge could announce the postponement of the proceedings.
