Michael Jackson’s business manager testifies for the lawyers

Tohme Tohme, Michael Jackson’s business manager at the time of his death, is testifying in court at the judge’s instruction. Michael Pastor ordered the attorney for Mr. Tohme to prepare his client to give testimony in the trial regarding the Pop King’s murder. Tohme’s lawyer said his client did not receive a subpoena. But the person who delivered the subpoena told the judge on Monday that he personally handed the paper to him, and an automobile broker also testified that at the time Tohme received the subpoena, he was present at the location of an auto auction. The judge accepted the statements of these two witnesses, and therefore Tohme is required to appear in court. However, his lawyer believes his client has no information related to this case. Meanwhile, the accused’s lawyers, Conrad Murray’s lawyers, say Tohme has valuable information and is a key witness for them, because he can confirm their claim that Michael killed himself by mistake. Narg Gorgian, who has recently joined the legal team, says Tohme has a lot of information about Michael’s financial situation, drug use, and other habits. The lawyers claim that Michael Jackson’s financial troubles led him to self-medicate with the dangerous drug propofol. The judge, although he found the lawyers’ claims very controversial, agreed to their request to subpoena Tohme. However, he may limit the questions the lawyers will ask him in court. Murray’s defense lawyers want to ask Tohme about the financial pressure that was placed on Michael to hold 50 concerts in London. Gorgian says: "Tohme arranged the contract with AEG, and some witnesses say Mr. Jackson was very angry about this contract." Tohme will not speak to the lawyers before taking the witness stand. The lawyers are also trying to connect Dr. Arnold Klein to this case, just like Tohme, and bring him before the court.
