Judge Threatens Conrad Murray’s Lawyers

“I’m infinitely concerned about the status of this case and whether the lawyers are finally ready to proceed with the trial.”

Yesterday, Judge Michael Pastor, while making this statement, threatened Conrad Murray’s lawyers with fines. That means for each day of delay in submitting case information, the lawyers must pay $1,500.

Judge Pastor said that if the lawyers do not deliver their documents and information to the prosecutor by Wednesday, they will have to pay the court a $1,500 fine for each day of delay in doing so.

Conrad Murray is requesting an early trial, but apparently his lawyers are still not ready to defend him.
