Will Moonwalker come to the cinema?

The film Moonwalker, twenty years after its first release (October 29, 1988), may appear on the big screen. The movie is a compilation of Michael’s works from childhood to adulthood, and includes videos such as Come Together, Speed Demon, a segment from the video Bad featuring children titled Badder, the Grammy-winning Best Video of 1989, Leave Me Alone, and also the full 25-minute film Smooth Criminal. Moonwalker was planned for theatrical release during the Christmas holidays that year, but the plan was canceled due to a lack of agreement with film distributors, and ultimately it went to the VHS market—where, needless to say, it achieved major commercial success. More than two decades after that day, the ArcLight Cinema in Hollywood is trying to obtain a version of this film and show it on its big silver screens for just one night. This decision was made after Michael fans filled the cinema’s Facebook page with their requests. No information is available about when the film will be shown. Source: eMJey / MTV
