Perfume and cologne in memory of Michael Jackson
Joe Jackson, Michael’s father, wants to launch a line of perfumes and colognes. He has signed a contract with the French company Julien Roause. These women’s and men’s fragrances—taking inspiration from the flowers and plants of Neverland, the Papal King’s ranch—will be called: Jackson’s Tribute and Jackson’s Legend.
The contract was signed last December, and the products will be released in March in the United States. A percentage of the sales profits will go to charities supported by Michael Jackson.
The company’s CEO, Frank Roause, said: "This is a 50-50 deal with Joe Jackson, and it includes worldwide sales, television rights, and advertising. We did the work very, very quickly. Usually these kinds of actions take a year."
The Michael Jackson Foundation has confirmed that they have nothing to do with this project, and that the contract is between the company and Joe Jackson personally.
