Murray’s Defense Strategy Against the Charge of Killing Michael Jackson

TMZ, citing anonymous sources connected to the Pop King’s murder case, reports that the defense attorneys for the doctor accused of his death have put forward another theory to strengthen their “Michael Jackson committed suicide” hypothesis—which has not been well received. The lawyers may claim that Michael had weakened himself too much by training for concerts that were canceled due to his death. Sources believe there is undeniable evidence of Michael’s weakness during the time he was on tour throughout his life. During his concert tours, he was losing weight and suffering from dehydration and insomnia. The defense attorneys will argue that as a result of rehearsals, Michael’s body became weak and he needed painkillers and medication in order to rest. Of course, physical weakness during a tour isn’t unusual, and Michael’s insomnia is something everyone has known about. The main problem with this strategy is that after death, forensic medicine evaluated Michael as a healthy person who suffered cardiac and respiratory arrest—and ultimately death—because of a lethal amount of anesthetic found in hospital operating rooms: propofol. TMZ says the lawyers believe that when Dr. Murray left the room after injecting the very strong anesthetic from operating rooms into Michael’s blood, Michael got up from the sedation and mistakenly injected himself with the deadly drug propofol.
