The name and image of Michael Jackson’s beautiful and extensive library in Neverland were mentioned in a piece about the libraries of famous people such as Woody Allen and Frank Sinatra. Of course, this photo does not show the full magnitude of Michael’s library.
According to Larry Nimmer, who made the documentary "The Unseen Story of Neverland," when Michael left Neverland in 2005, he had a library with nearly 700,000 books covering literature, art, history, cinema, religion, and more—on a very large number of them, signs of reading and learning were clearly visible.
Some have said that Michael intended to pass down his enormous and comprehensive library to eager-learning or less-privileged children. He was also looking to buy rare books from collectors.
Thomas Mesereau, his defense attorney in the 2005 court case, described Michael’s library as one of the largest collections in the world.
Michael had some of his books bound in leather covers. His library contained a set of comfortable wooden furniture, a beautiful fireplace, and many paintings and works of art—making the room very appealing.
