Video Game Designer Says
Michael was, before his death, in talks with legendary game developer David Perry about a video game.
“I was talking to him about an idea for releasing a brand-new album from a tenor turned into a video game. It was one of those pure ideas that introduces millions of newcomers to the video game industry. That was the goal.”
He wanted to present the game in an excellent way. We worked on the game design, and I even took one of my industry friends to Neverland so we could work together. It was a very bad time for this, because the second round of accusations against Michael came up and everything stopped.”
The experience is now available for the Wii consoles. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 Kinect versions are also expected to arrive soon. The experience is expected to be the new Michael Jackson video game, matching the greatness of his album—and Perry says Michael wanted exactly that.
