50 Cent and Michael Jackson’s Album

Black rapper 50 Cent has collaborated on Michael Jackson’s new album. Having performed the rap part of the song Monster, or “the beast,” he says that Monster is a 2010 Thriller. "My DJ, Wookid, had the chance to meet Mike because (Michael) wanted us to collaborate. He wanted to work with me because he had made a song that was perfect for our joint work." Although they never met each other, they had the opportunity to exchange ideas. They respected each other. 50 Cent says: "I’m usually not nervous because I don’t care about other artists. But Michael is a special person. He’s different. I don’t even know how to describe it." Unfortunately, Michael passed away before this collaboration could become real. After that, 50 Cent received a phone call asking him to come to the studio and record his part. 50 Cent worked on this track with Teddy Riley, who mixed his rap with Michael’s vocals. 50 Cent recalls: "When I listened to the song, I was thrilled and excited. This 2010 version is the Thriller track." 50 Cent disagrees with some members of the Jackson family who are protesting the release of songs. "For me, it’s a chance to carry out the ideas we discussed together. A chance to have a collaboration—not just with a great artist, but with an icon." And despite the controversies, he believes the album will be well received by the public. "I think this album is something special. It will be received differently because it’s the last work Michael created. So I think people will want to have it in their collection.
