Randy Jackson’s Indifference to MacKenzie’s Remarks

On Thursday and Friday, November 17 and 18, Randy Jackson, Michael’s brother, was supposed to answer questions from fans on his Twitter page. But as Deborah French wrote in her blog, he seemed to be there to talk, not to listen. Randy talked about his brother’s foundation, Sony, the new album, Michael’s legacy, and Dr. Murray. Many fans asked him for his opinion and help regarding MacKenzie’s recent remarks, but Randy showed no attention or interest in the matter. Journalist Charles Thomson asked him, "What do you think about MacKenzie’s recent comments on ITV, calling your brother a sexual abuser? Taje is asking for an apology from this network." Charles asked again: "A simple question: has ITV broadcast statements saying that your brother’s death was better for his children? Should ITV apologize?" Many fans repeated Charles’s questions, but they didn’t get an answer. News agencies like TMZ and Showbiz also followed up for Randy’s responses, so he could have played an important role in supporting the campaign against MacKenzie.
